1861-1866: Down and Back wagons Trail from Utah to Florence and
back to Utah with European immigrants (1861-1863) along
north side of Platte River. Second Down and Back trail
from Utah to Omaha to Wyoming, NE (several miles north
of Nebraska City) to Utah. They hauled merchandise largely flour, to Omaha, and immigrants back to Utah.
