President Snow recommended bro. Isaiah
Coombes, for the office of Elder, and referred him
to the Elders Quorum.
He also recommended the Bishops to select
their own councillors.
After some other business of minor impor
=tance the meeting adjourned till Sunday the
8th day of April at 10 A.M.
Sunday morning April 8th.
The meeting was opened at 10 o'clock by singing
the first Hymn, Prayer by Prest. M. Andrus.
Prest. E. Snow then addressed the Saints and
at the conclusion, made the following propo-
sitions:
1. That Elder James Case, go along the val-
ley of the Mississippi, and hunt up the scatter-
ed sheep, and organize them into folds, and get
subscriptions for the Luminary.
2. That Elder William Morrison be appointed to organize the Saints in St. Charles, and preside.
